|Maybank is the largest banking and financial group in Malaysia which provides various banking products and services to a wider range of personal and business clients. It was establish in 1960 with the base headquarters (HQ) in Kuala Lumpur and also popularly know as Malayan Banking Berhad. In 2008, the Maybank also acquires 15% of Vietnam based An Binh Bank and 97.5% of Indonesia based BII (Bank Internasional Indonesia). Recently, in early 2011, they have also acquired 44.6% shares of Kim Eng, a stock, securities and brokerage service provider based in Singapore.
