Westpac ATM Fees
Westpac ATMs are provided with free of the ATM operator fee within Australia. But certain fees and charges may be charged to customers when using ATMs overseas. When customers withdraw money from the ATMs that are not a member of the ATM Global Alliance, then a $5 fee is applied, while checking of balance is free. Some overseas banks may also charge a fee for withdrawals as well, but this can be avoided by using one of the Westpac Global Alliance partner ATMs.
Whenever customers travel overseas and have to withdraw money in any overseas bank, they can save a $5 withdrawal fee by using any of the bank's Global Alliance partners' ATMs. The Westpac Global Alliance ATM partners include Westpac NZ, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Barclays Bank, ABSA, Bank of America, ScotiaBank and Ukrsibbank- Private Bank. Whatsoever the reason, the maximum withdrawal limit at any of Westpac ATM in one day is $10,000.
