Eligibility for SBI Platinum Card

Any salaried or self employed individual who earns a regular income is eligible to obtain the platinum card. However, they are required to open a bank account after providing their income and personal identification details. On the other hand, SBI NRI platinum credit card is offered to NRE or NRO account holders having fixed deposit scheme of amount greater or equal to Rs. 1,00,000. The duration of the fixed deposit must be greater than one year at the time of application of the NRI platinum card. Any NRI who hold a valid Indian passport and maintain an NRE or NRO account with SBI Bank Group is eligible to apply for the card.

In order to make the application, fill up the application form and sign the authorization and lien creation letter. Also submit the original fixed deposit receipt together with the following documents;
  • Copy of valid Indian Passport
  • Self-attested KYC documents (as per RBI guideline)
  • Duly filled ECS form with a cancelled personalized cheque
