Commonwealth Bank Credit Card Rewards
With Commonwealth Awards rewards program, cardmembers can earn exciting awards points every time one uses the card and the earned points can be used for shopping, travel, banking, merchandise and many others. With effect from April 2010, Commonwealth Awards members can use the awards points for a range of travel services directly with the bank's travel partner Flight Center. The earned awards points also can be redeemed for velocity rewards, a loyalty program of Virgin Blue, or Air New Zealand Airpoints Dollars provided one is a member of the relevant program. Cardmembers are also allowed to transfer the awards points to Qantas Frequent Flyer. To avail this facility, one will have to opt in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Direct, and for this, one will be charged an annual fee of $10.
Commonwealth Bank credit cardholders can make bill payments with their credit card to the credit card accepted BPAY billers, and such payments will be treated as normal purchases. Customers making bill payment for the first time with BPAY have to enter the BPAY biller code which is available on the printed bill. Receiving of paper bill or online bills with BPAY will vary by the biller and the billing cycle.
