DBS India is one of the banking units of the DBS Group based in Singapore. In India, it operates in 12 regions with the head office in Mumbai. They started their business in 1994 with a small representative office in Mumbai which later upgraded to a full fledge banking office in the following year. In 2005, the Reserve Bank of India approves to set up 8 more branches in the country including the branch located in New Delhi. At present, the bank employs more than 400 employees across the country.
The bank has occupied a better position in the wholesale banking domain and it provides several types of banking products and services in various sections which include institutional and investment banking, corporate lending, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and treasury services.
