DBS Indonesia was founded in 1989 as PT Bank Mitsubishi Buana which is a joint venture of PT Bank Buana Indonesia and The Mitsubishi Bank Ltd. After 8 years, DBS Bank Ltd. acquires the share of Mitsubishi Bank Ltd. and became PT Bank DBS Buana. Later on, the bank has changed its name to PT Bank DBS Indonesia.
At present, DBS Indonesia is operating with 40 branches across various regions and cities of country namely Bandung, Bogor, Jakarta, Makassar, Medan, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Pontianak, Samarinda, Semarang, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.
