The Comerica Bank organizes a professional tennis tournament every year under the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour. This tournament is popularly known as the Comerica Challenger. The Comerica Challenger has been running smoothly and successfully for more than twenty years. It is the longest running challenger in the United States. Moreover, the tournament is organized and held annually since 1988 in the country, at the Seascape Sports Club Aptos, California.

The Comerica Challenger is played on outdoor hard courts with a cash reward of $75,000 for the final winner. The 2010 Comerica Bank Challenger was the 23rd ATP tournament which was held from 12th July till 18th July. It has both singles and doubles tournament for men. The Results for the 2010 event went in favor of Australian tennis players for both singles and doubles titles. Marinko Matosevic defeated Donald Young from United States by 6-4, 6-2 in the singles final. In the doubles final, Carsten Ball and Chris Guccione defeated their compatriot Adam Feeney and Greg Jones by 6-1, 6-2.
