Central Bank of India Recruitment is specially conducted by the authorities of the bank to select eligible candidates who are talented enough to work with the bank. By organizing several recruitment programs, the bank fills its vacancies and job openings from time to time. A number of recruitments were organized in the year 2009 and it includes recruitment of Clerks from diverse parts of the country. Central Bank of India recruitment of clerks 2009 brought a total vacancy of 850 seats. The bank accepts only online registration and no other means of application are entertained.

Online registration for the recruitment began from 14th February 2009 and it lasted up to 14th March 2009. The written examination for the Clerk recruitment was held on 24th May, 2009. As per the bank regulation, the pay scale of the Clerical Cadre will start from Rs. 4,410-13,210 under revision. Overall emolument at the beginning of the service will be about Rs, 7000/- including DA, HRA and CCA at metropolitan centers. According to the bank's rules and regulation, medical aid, leave fare concession, hospital scheme and retirement benefits are also admissible.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are required to be of at least 18 years and not more than 28 years as on 1st January 2009. However, relaxations of age limit are available for SC/ST, OBC candidates and disable persons. As for the educational qualification, applicants should have a graduate degree from a recognized University or should have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate mark of 50% from a recognized board. A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 50 is required to be paid by SC/ST/EX-Servicemen candidates while other candidates including OBSs should pay Rs. 290.

Central Bank of India Recruitment 2010 will probably bring some vacancies for Probationary Officers, Clerks and various other job openings with the bank. The selection process for the recruitment of POs will include written examination and personal interview. It is advisable for the applicants to check the eligibility conditions before applying for the job openings. A number of documents and educational certificates will have to be furnished at the time of making the application.
