Barclays Singapore Open is a golf tournament which was returned again in 2005 after a break of 3 years with a purse prize of $2 million. The Serapong and Tanjong Golf Course are the two golf courses in which the tournament is being held. The latter was nominated consecutively for three times as the best course of Singapore by The Asian Golf Review. Formerly, the tournament was sanctioned by European Tour and Asian Tour before the Barclays enters into the history of Singapore Open.

The final round of the Barclays Singapore Open 2010 was play off on 14th of November, 2010 at Sentosa Golf Club and the Australian Adam Scott was the winner of the event. It was the third time victory of Scott after his consecutive wins in 2005 and 2006 respectively with prize money of 1 million US dollars (biggest on Asian Tour) whereas Ian Poulter and Jeev Milkha Singh are the winners of the previous years.
